Houston TX – Franco Innovative Media & Marketing (FIMM) is proud to announce that CEO and founder J Franco has been awarded the 2025 Sheri L. Parrack Diversity in Excellence Award (Small Business) by the Federation of Houston Professional Women (FHPW). The award was presented on September 20, 2025, at the annual Women of Excellence Gala, one of Houston’s most respected celebrations recognizing the impact, leadership, and service of women across the region.
The Diversity in Excellence Award honors businesses that lead beyond profit, centering inclusion, equity, integrity, and long-term impact. It recognizes organizations that build opportunity, elevate diverse voices, and set a standard for ethical leadership in the Houston business community. This award is presented in three categories — small, medium, and large business — making FIMM’s recognition particularly meaningful as a growing, women-led agency making a global imprint.
FIMM was celebrated for its unwavering commitment to diversity-driven leadership and talent development. The agency is Latina-owned, Houston-based, and 100 percent women-led, with operations extending into Colombia and the Philippines. Latina and AAPI women serve as core leaders in strategy, operations, creative direction, and client success. FIMM also invests in male team members from underserved regions such as Bangladesh, providing dignified roles, fair compensation, and pathways for advancement. The agency does not outsource to cut corners. It builds careers with intention.

The award carries the legacy of the late Sheri L. Parrack, a devoted member of the CyFair Express Network (CYFEN) of ABWA and a force for women’s advancement in male-dominated fields. Parrack was known for bold leadership, record-setting achievements, and her commitment to chartering new leagues and expanding opportunities for women at every stage of their careers. Her work opened doors for generations of businesswomen to step into spaces where they had long been overlooked.
Receiving an award bearing Parrack’s name underscores the honor given to organizations that are not only performing well, but are actively pushing the standard of what inclusive leadership should look like.
Franco shared that the award reflects the heart of FIMM — a company built by women, for women, and powered by a global team connected by shared values and purpose. She acknowledged the significance of being recognized by FHPW, an organization that has championed professional women in Houston for more than four decades.
