J Franco Named 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Federation of Houston Professional Women
Houston TX – Franco Innovative Media & Marketing is proud to announce that CEO and founder J Franco has been awarded the 2024 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Federation of Houston Professional Women (FHPW). This lifetime achievement honor recognizes a woman business owner with more than five years in business who has demonstrated continued growth, community impact, and sustained annual revenue above six figures.
The award was presented to Franco on September 21, 2024, at the annual Women of Excellence Gala, where she also served as a guest of honor and emceed the event. This year marked the debut of the Entrepreneur of the Year category, introduced for the first time under the leadership of 2024 FHPW President Michelle Moreno. Other newly established awards included the Sheri L Parrack Diversity in Excellence Award and the Budding Entrepreneur Award, reflecting FHPW’s commitment to broadening recognition across a wider spectrum of women leaders.
Founded in 1981, the Federation of Houston Professional Women unites professional and business organizations across the Greater Houston region, providing a collaborative platform for leadership development, education, networking, and recognition. The Women of Excellence Gala stands as the Federation’s signature celebration, honoring women who exemplify outstanding achievement and service within their professions and communities.
Franco was selected for her leadership in building a successful women-led agency, her decade-long track record of entrepreneurship, and her dedication to supporting service-based business owners through strategic content, branding, and social media management. Her nomination emphasized her consistent business growth, commitment to mentorship, and influence as a rising voice for women in marketing and business strategy.
During her recognition, Franco expressed appreciation to the Federation and the member organizations represented at the gala. She shared that receiving the award in a year that introduced new pathways for honoring women entrepreneurs holds special significance, noting that the acknowledgment reflects both her journey and the women who have supported and collaborated with her along the way.
